Find an intensity that suits your goals
Choose the pace of your Spanish learning with an intensive course in Spain. HolaSpain helps you compare different weekly lesson loads, destinations, levels and teaching calendars, without assuming every school follows the same system.
How the programme works
Spanish schools may offer approximately 10, 20, 25 or 30 lessons or contact hours a week, sometimes with private conversation modules. Lesson length, weekly contact hours and official teaching hours must be checked individually; a 30-lesson course is not automatically 30 clock hours. Longer study plans also require careful attention to school holidays and documentation.
Who it suits
These options suit adults wanting rapid progress, learners preparing for further study and those considering an extended stay. Beginners should ask about specific start dates, while higher levels depend on placement, school timetable and minimum class numbers.
Choose your destination
Alicante, Valencia, Barcelona, Madrid, Granada and several other destinations may offer intensive Spanish. We compare actual school schedules rather than treating different campuses as interchangeable.
What we verify
- Teaching hours and actual lesson length
- Entry level, start date and classroom format
- Registration, materials, breaks and accommodation
Good to know before enquiring
Does an intensive course automatically qualify for a student visa?
No. The required eligibility and school documents depend on the exact programme, your residence and the applicable rules. We assess the actual course rather than relying on its marketing name.
Not all advertised weekly lesson counts correspond to the same number of clock hours. A written quote will clarify the exact structure.
Ask for a tailored Spanish programme
Tell HolaSpain your nationality and residence where relevant, intended dates, approximate duration, Spanish level, group size or age and any accommodation or activity needs. We’ll check the appropriate current school offer and explain what is confirmed.
